Cornus sericea 'Bud's Yellow'
Upright spreading shrub, native to most of North America. Stems are bright yellow. Remove ¼ to ⅓ of the oldest stems in late winter to encourage new stems with the best color. Tiny fragrant white flowers appear in flat clusters in summer, followed by whiteish fruit. Adaptable to many conditions but prefers moist soil.
