'Frans Fontaine' is a slow-growing, deciduous cultivar known for its dense, columnar form which remains narrow into its maturity. Features densely packed, dark green serrated leaves that turn golden yellow in autumn. Fluted trunk and smooth gray bark lends to its year-round interest in the landscape. Use as a low maintenance tall hedge, disease resistant specimen or street tree.
