Sweet Pepper 'Purple Beauty' 3.5"

Capsicum annuum (Sweet) spp.

This variety produces an attractive, medium-sized, 3-4 lobed green bell pepper with glossy skin that ripens to a deep eggplant purple and, later, to a deep red. Its 3"x3" block fruit is very firm, crisp, and wonderfully sweet. The plant is compact, productive, and perfect in the garden bed as well as containers. Use in salads, stir fries, or stuffed. Adds unique color to any dish. Plant in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers amended with organic matter. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week, throughout the growing season. Feed with a slow-release fertilizer per label instructions. Mulch 2" to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
