Stokes' Asters posess the most stunning, 3-4" wide, vivid serrated flowers late summer to fall. They're showy in the garden and containers, resistant to pests, and prized for their cut flowers. These plants pair well with Salvia, Coreopsis, Black-Eyed Susans, Veronica, and Grasses. Plant in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. 'Honeysong Purple' produces true royal purple flowers 4" across with a hint of red at the center from midsummer to early fall.
