Yarrow produces flowers each summer that appear as clusters atop sturdy stems, which makes them excellent for cutting. This plant is also very resistant to heat, drought, humidity, wind, and even road salt! If you have a spot in the garden where it's tough to grow flowers, consider Achillea. 'Pomegranate' has bright magenta flowers and is part of the Summer Pastels series. Grows well in just about any soil type. Enjoys room to spread. Remove spent blossoms to promote continuous flowering. Divide every 4-5 years, if/as needed, in spring.
