Achillea spp.
Yarrow is a classic perennial and one of the best garden performers. It produces striking, green to silver grey, ferny, aromatic foliage with clustered corymb flowers. It's an awesome pollinator plant, excellent cut and dried flower, and has good deer resistance. The more you cut it, the more it produces. 'Saucy Seduction' displays rosy-pink florets on sturdy green foliage mid June through July. Plant in well-drained, average to dry soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week, for the first year. Lift and divide in spring or fall every 3 years.
