Also known as Kentucky Wisteria, a cold hardy native vine that produces an abundance of 12" long clusters (racemes) of fragrant, lilac purple flowers from late May into June. This variety tends to be less aggressive than other wisteria, but still requires sturdy support structures, arbors, railings, or other tree trunks to twine on. Flowers will mature to persistent, fuzzy, seed pods that should be removed for additional blooming.
