White Forsythia is a cousin of true forsythias, and shares the habit of long arching branches and early blooms. White forsythia does not grow as large, and its white flowers emerge earlier than true forsthia. Flowers are slightly fragrant. Prune immediately after flowering if necessary, usually every 3-4 years to maintain shape.
