Ceropegia woodii variegata Also known as variegated "string of hearts" or "heart vine", this succulent has easily recognizable leaves, which grow into small, .05" hearts that are mottled silver and dark green with bold cream to pink edges. Leaves grow on trailing purplish stems which hang down the sides of pots, making this the ideal plant for hanging baskets and whimsical succulent container gardens. Small pink vase-like flowers are produced in summer. Plant in a cactus soil mix. Let soil drain and dry out between waterings, do not overwater. Prefers normal room temperatures ranging from 60-80 degrees F. Feed with a multipurpose plant food, half strength, once a month, April-September. Grow in bright light to 4 hours of direct sun with other succulent plants such as Aloe, Echeveria, Jade or Crassula and more.
