Spiraea japonica
The stunning offspring of S. japonica 'Alpina' and S. japonica 'Goldflame'. The result is a beautiful, dwarf specimen that produces bright, lemon-yellow foliage with tiny clusters of pink-mauve flowers in late spring and again in summer if sheared after blooming. Foliage matures to a gold-green, then turns golden, orange and burgundy in autumn. This showy spirea is visited by a host of pollinating insects spring through fall.
