Veronica longifolia
Also known as perennial Veronica, Speedwells typically produce neat clumps of clean, green foliage from which dense spikes of flowers bloom over several weeks at a time. Spent flowers can be cut back to promote repeat bloomers. These plants prefer to be in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. 'Vernique Rose' produces an abundance of full spikes of rose-pink flowers spring through summer. Pairs well with Gaura, Beard Tongue, Salvia, Coneflower, and Shasta Daisy.
