Viburnum plicatum Not your run of the mill doublefile viburnum! In trials, it has beaten out 'Summer Snowflake' with improved, stronger blooming. You can see for yourself with its long bloom time in spring and repeat blooming in the summer. Its elegant, lacy blooms are held on a strongly horizontal habit, which brings a unique architectural feature to the landscape. Foliage is dark green, glossy, and has the hallmark deep veining of the species, which altogether looks lovely in the landscape and performs well as a filler for cut flower arrangements. Fall color is a brilliant purplish-burgundy. Top three reasons to grow Steady Eddy® viburnum: reliable repeat blooms, space-saving habit, growing about half the size of conventional varieties, and low maintenance - just plant and enjoy.
