Also known as Japanese Snowball Viburnum, 'Popcorn' is an improved, smaller version of the species. In April to May, it produces a profusion of 2-3", pure white, spherical flower clusters that resemble popcorn balls. Pleated, dark green leaves turn beautiful shades of red, burgundy and purple in fall. An excellent pollinator attractant, but sterile, so it does not produce berries. Exhibits good drought tolerance once established. Plant with Weigela, Dogwoods, Peonies, and spring blooming bulbs.
