Known as both 'English Roseum' and 'Roseum Pink', this is a classic variety of Rhododendron with large, leathery, olive-green foliage and rose-lilac colored flowers in spring. Additional attributes include good cold hardiness, vigorous growth, compact form, and more sun tolerance compared to other varieties. They are still best planted in part shade, eastern or northern exposures. A popular shrub for shady mass plantings, foundation beds or as an evergreen specimen.
