Populus tremuloides The Quaking Aspen is the most widely distributed North American tree. The small, glossy dark green leaves on this native, deciduous tree are on flattened leaf stalks that tremble in the slightest breeze for a beautiful, shimmering effect. Its magnificent white bark will devlop black warty patching for its signature look. Leaves turn a vibrant golden yellow in the fall. Makes a great specimen or grove when planted in mass.
