This relatively uniform variety produces pumpkins from 5-6 lbs. on average. The plants have a thick, dark green stem with semi-bush vines that produce very good yields of dark orange, 6" diameter, round fruit that have a slight rib. Plant in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water once a week throughout the growing season. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, following label instructions. Mulch 2" to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
