This variety is a showy, carving pumpkin with glowing white skin! 'Lumina' is a fun addition to your squash and pumpkin patch producing uniform, 8-10 inch diameter, 10 to 12 pound, smooth white to cream, ribbed skin pumpkins with yellow flesh. Good disease resistance, an excellent decorative variety, and perfect for making jack o' lanterns, painting, and baking. Pumpkins are garden companions to corn, cucumbers, peas, sunflowers, and other squash. Plant in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water once a week throughout the growing season. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, following label instructions. Mulch 2" to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
