This variety produces pumpkins from 20-25 lbs. on average while offering improved disease protection. Its round, deep orange fruit have moderate ribbing and measure 12" tall x 13" wide, and its vigorous, semi-vining plants produce good yields of these classic, attractive pumpkins that are uniform for size and shape. Plant in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water once a week throughout the growing season. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, following label instructions. Mulch 2" to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
