An eye-catching mini bell hybrid that develops into a compact, mounded, bushy plant covered in creamy white and medium green variegated leaves. Summer blooming leads to early-maturing, colorful, 3.5 by 2.5-inch snack sized bells with unique striping, maturing from green with white and yellow to deep cherry red and chocolate brown. These mini bells are an early producer, maturing in 55-75 days from green to red. Wonderfully crisp and sweet tasting, they are perfect for fresh snacks, for dipping, salads, and stir-fries. They make attractive, edible additions to containers or gardens, and do not require staking. Combine with tomatoes, basil, onions, and carrots; avoid cabbage. Plant in well-drained, moist, nutrient rich, warm soil in containers or gardens amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1-inch of water, once a week in the ground or keep evenly moist to slightly dry in containers. Feed with Garden-tone or Osmocote; follow label instructions throughout the growing season. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Avoid frost and cold, wet, shady spots.
