Pear 'Orient' 10 Gallon
Pyrus communis 'Orient'
This European fruiting pear tree produces heavy crops of large-sized, round, yellow fruit with red blush that look similar to an Asian pear. Its creamy flesh is mild, juicy and melts in your mouth. 'Orient' requires another European fruiting pear such as 'Bartlett' to produce fruit. These pears start to ripen in August to September, and are excellent for canning, fresh eating and baking.
