DreamCloud® brings a crisp, clean elegance to the Endless Summer® Collection with large, rounded mophead blooms that cover the plant all season long. Blooms emerge a bright, pure white and hold that color longer than most varieties before aging to a soft pink in cooler climates - unaffected by soilpH. A true rebloomer, DreamCloud® flowers on both old and new wood. It has a tidy, upright-rounded habit of just 3 to 4 feet tall and wide, with sturdy stems that hold those big blooms upright without flopping, and dark green foliage. Its compact size makes it a natural fit for foundation plantings, mixed borders, low hedges or decorative containers on the patio. Plant in well-drained to moist, amended soil. Water well after planting; maintain 1 inch of water once a week the first year. Prune down to uppermost growth in spring. Remove dead, winter damaged stems and silver, older wood at this time. Deadhead in summer through fall. Feed early spring and mid-summer with a slow release fertilizer. Follow label instructions. Mulch 2 inches to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature. Benefits from winter protection.
