Adiantum hispidulum Ferns are a classic shade plant family with numerous tropical/houseplant varieties. All are excellent as air purifying container plants, beautiful growing in hanging baskets, or displayed in terrariums, a humid bathroom or kitchen. 'Bronze Venus' is a colorful, tropical fern with lush, upright to arching, rosy to copper emerging fronds that later mature to glossy, deep green with narrow, scalloped leaflets on top of black petioles. A gorgeous fern, perfect for hanging baskets or mixed shade containers paired with Begonias and Impatiens. Bring this tropical species indoors for winter. Grow in bright to medium, indirect lighting from an eastern or northern exposure window, or under fluorescent lighting. Prefers cool to average household temperatures, 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray mist regularly and keep soil evenly moist to slightly dry. Supply extra humidity by setting on a shallow tray of moistened pebbles. Feed with indoor plant fertilizer April-September per package instructions.
