Japanese Maple 'Ryu Sei' 7 Gallon
Acer palmatum
'Ryu Sei' means "dragon spirit", but this variety may also be called 'Ryusei' or 'Ryusen'. This variety is extremely pendulous with dramatically weeping branches covered by leaves that astart chartreuse green, deepen to dark green, and in fall turn to oranges and reds. Unlike other weeping Japanese maples, leaves are palmate and not dissected like most other weeping Japanese maples.
