Paeonia (Intersectional hybrid) This Itoh Peony presents large and gorgeous, 6-inch, semi-double flowers of cream with a pink blush and pink edged petals in late spring to early summer that stand above lush, toothed, deep green foliage. Sturdy stems means no staking is required! The blooms have a mild, pleasant fragrance that is attractive to pollinators. All Itoh peonies are a cross between bush and tree peonies becoming low maintenance once established, possessing a bushy, full habit, and providing large, multiple (30+), uniquely colored blooms perfect for the cottage or cutting garden on a single plant. Plant in well-drained to moist, deep, nutrient rich soil amended with compost or planting mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1"" of water, once a week the first year. Apply a slow release fertilizer in spring and again midsummer. Cut or deadhead spent flower stems to promote reblooming. Mulch 1-2 inches to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in fall.
