An adaptable, tough, deciduous shade tree that is a fast grower, possesses a pyramidal, upright canopy with a central leader covered in deep green, tiny oval leaflets that require little raking maintenance in the fall. Foliage color matures to a golden yellow in autumn. This tree is a nearly seedless and thornless variety. Being an Ohio nativar, it makes an excellent shade or street tree, tolerant of wind, salt, heat and drought, pollution and urban conditions. Underplant with plants that appreciate dappled shade such as Hydrangea, Heuchera, and Itea. Propagation prohibited.
