'Fire Storm' offers twice the flower power of the original 'Fireball' and in a smaller, showier package. This vigorous, compact, long-blooming plant is easy to grow in just about any garden. It features large, semi-double, scarlet-orange blooms spring through summer and may remain evergreen during milder winters. Regular deadheading encourages repeat blooming. Use as a cut flower or pollinator attractant. Plant in a moist but well-drained, nutrient rich soil amended with organic matter like compost and planting mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week the first year. Use slow release fertilizer in spring or at planting; reapply midsummer. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture.
