Fothergilla 'Blue Shadow' 3 Gallon
Fothergilla x intermedia
Hybrid fothergilla prefers moist, acidic, rich, well-drained soils. It is a medium sized deciduous shrub between the sizes of F. major and F. gardenii. Bottlebrush shaped spikes of white flowers emerge in spring before the leaves fully expand. 'Blue Shadow' is a sport of 'Mt. Airy', except the green leaves mature to powder blue.
