Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Filifera Aurea'
This cypress is known for its golden, weeping, thread-like, evergreen foliage over a dense, semi-dwarf, broad conical habit. It is extremely slow growing, only reaching 5-6' in a decade. Best used as a colorful specimen for year round interest, in shrub borders, rock gardens and foundation plantings being heat, drought tolerant and deer resistant. Pair with purple foliage plants such as Barberry or Weigela for a stunning combination.
