European Hornbeam 'Columnaris Nana' Low Branched 10 Gallon

European Hornbeam is a medium-sized deciduous tree species with a pyramidal to oval crown featuring birch-like, oval, toothed, clean and attractive, medium green foliage that turns golden-orange in autumn. In spring, male and female flowers appear on separate catkins followed by clusters of small, three-lobed nutlets in summer. Fluted trunk and smooth gray bark lends to its year-round interest in the landscape. 'Columnaris Nana' is a compact, slow-growing column form with dense foliage. Fall color is golden yellow. Use as a low maintenance tall hedge or specimen.
