Juniperus horizontalis
'Pancake' is an outstanding dense and extremely low growing variety (only two inches tall) that is often used as an evergreen groundcover because of its spreading carpet-like form. Rich green foliage takes on a subtle mauve hue in winter. This variety makes very attractive erosion control or looks marvelous spilling over rock walls.
