'Azure Rush' is a long-blooming, compact perennial with lovely light lavender-blue flowers. Flowers will typically bloom from late spring into fall. Plant with columbine, daylilies, and grasses. Plant in a moist but well-drained, nutrient rich soil amended with organic matter like compost and planting mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1"" of water, once a week the first year. Use slow release fertilizer in spring or at planting; reapply midsummer. Mulch 1-2"" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture.
