Coral Bells Primo® 'Pistachio Ambrosia' 2 gallon

Coral Bells Primo® 'Pistachio Ambrosia' 2 gallon

Heuchera hybrida

This improved variety displays large, chartreuse-yellow leaves with light green veins that form a low mound of showy, scalloped foliage. Long, 28-32 inch flower scapes emerge midsummer to hold pink buds to light pink bell-shaped flowers that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and support bees. This plant is long blooming, makes a good cut flower, salt tolerant, and native to North America. Use in containers or the garden border for three seasons of colorful interest. Combine with Astilbe, bleeding hearts, garden phlox, and Brunnera. Plant in well-drained, moist to average, fertile soil amended with organic matter like compost or planting mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1 inch of water, once a week the first year. Fertilize in spring and again in summer with a slow release fertilizer following the package instructions. Cut back damaged foliage in spring and spent flower stems for a neat appearance. Mulch 1-2 inches to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring or fall when necessary.
