Dumb Cane is an easy care, common foliage houseplant with wide leaves mottled in shades of green, white, cream, and yellow. It's often used as an attractive floor plant and raised on plant stands in the home or office. These plants are also excellent air purifiers. Compact Dumb Cane is a more compact-growing vareity that still offers a very full growth habit. It works well to dress areas of the home or office where space is limited. Grow in medium to low, indirect lighting 8-10' from windows, middle of a dim room, or in low fluorescent lighting. Prefers average household temperatures, 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep soil evenly moist to slightly dry. Supply extra humidity by setting on a shallow tray of moistened pebbles. Feed with indoor plant fertilizer April-September per package instructions.
