Cedrus libanitica 'Stenocoma' Also known as 'Cedar of Lebanon'. A slow-growing, evergreen conifer that may reach 20 feet high in its first 20 years. 'Stenocoma' is the most winter-hardy of the Cedar of Lebanon. Its columnar form is more upright and rigid than the straight species with shorter needles. As the tree matures, it will develop a large trunk. A trunk up to 10' is common in mature trees. Needles are usually dark green in summer, but range from green to bluish green with 3-4" long cones that mature in fall every other year.
