Calico Beardtongue is native to North America including Ohio. White flowers with pink exteriors appear on tall stalks over green foliage. Attracts a wide variety of native bees plus sphinx moths and hummingbirds. They are tough perennials that can take just about any condition, except they require well-drained soil, especially over the winter. the perform best in full sun for best blooming and disease resistance. Remove flowers when spent to encourage reblooming.
