This is a lovely, dense, deciduous shrub with glossy green foliage that turns orange to maroon in fall. Pink buds form soft white clusters of scented flowers. The reverse side of petals remain pink, adding to its beauty. Great in borders, as a hedge or specimen planting. Prune after flowering to create and maintain desired form. Remove a few of the oldest stems as needed to rejuvenate the plant late winter/early spring.
