Blue Woods-Aster, also known as Heart-Leaved Aster, is a tall perennial aster that blooms pale blue with yellow centers, in late summer to fall. Does best in moist rich soils, but does not tolerate wet. Please Note: Plant asters at least 4-8 weeks before frost to give their roots time to become established and a better chance at wintering over in the landscape and becoming hardy. Otherwise, they should be considered annuals.
