Spiraea tomentosa
Steeplebush is an upright spirea native to Ohio. Spreads by root suckers. Ellipcal green leaves cover the plant with pink to rose flowers appear all along the plant mid-summer to fall. Does best in full sun and moist soil. Makes a nice low hedge.
