Ice Plant Hardy 'Cooperi' Market Basket

Ice Plant is a beautifully blooming, succulent groundcover that looks very similar to Portulaca (moss rose) but with thicker, more vigorous foliage. Flowers are vivid in tone and reactive, closing up on cloudy days and at night. They appreciate dry, well-drained soil, and make perfect rock garden plants. Hardy Ice Plant 'Cooperi' produces vibrant, deep purple-pink, daisy-like flowers up to 2" across from early summer to fall, almost completely covering the fleshy foliage. Plant in well-drained, dry soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week, for the first year. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring and summer when necessary.
