Salvia nemorosa 'Ostfriesland' Showy spikes of dark violet along with sturdy, green, multi-branched stems gives this meadow sage a strong, compact habit. Foliage is also aromatic and medium green. This sage makes a beautiful cut and/or dried flower or butterfly attractant combined with shasta daisies, Dianthus, Coreopsis, Echinacea and lilies.
