The Shasta Daisy family of perennials offers classic, white-petaled, sunny yellow-centered flowers in a variety of sizes, petal types, and habits. Newer varieties are bred for outstanding weather tolerance, repeat bloom performance, and general ease of maintenance. They prefer to be planted in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. The 'Daisy May' variety may look typical at first, but look again and you'll notice large, snow white flowers blanketing the plant and all buds along each stem. Better branching and plentiful side buds allow this perennial aisy to bloom much longer than many other varieties and, often, all summer if deadheaded.
