The Shasta Daisy family of perennials offers classic, white-petaled, sunny yellow-centered flowers in a variety of sizes, petal types, and habits. Newer varieties are bred for outstanding weather tolerance, repeat bloom performance, and general ease of maintenance. They prefer to be planted in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. The 'Snowcap' variety is an outstanding cultivar featuring pure white, 2-3" single flowers starting early summer atop bushy mounds of foliage. It has a sturdy, uniform habit and tolerates wind and rain better than many other varieties.
