The Shasta Daisy family of perennials offers classic, white-petaled, sunny yellow-centered flowers in a variety of sizes, petal types, and habits. Newer varieties are bred for outstanding weather tolerance, repeat bloom performance, and general ease of maintenance. They prefer to be planted in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. The 'Becky' variety is prized for its durability in the hot, humid summer season and also its cold hardiness. A sturdy cultivar, it offers copious amounts of very large, 3" single, white blooms atop strong stems, making it ideal for cutting. Despite its height, it does not usually require staking.
