Coral Bells Primo® 'Mahogany Monster' 2 Gallon

Heuchera hybrida

This variety displays massive, mahogany red leaves that form a substantial mound of showy, scalloped foliage. Long, 32-38 inch, burgundy flower stems emerge midsummer to hold light pink buds to cream bell-shaped flowers that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and support bees. This plant is long blooming, salt tolerant, and native to North America. Use in containers or the garden border for three seasons of colorful interest. Combine with Astilbe, Bleeding Hearts, Garden Phlox, and Brunnera. Plant in well-drained to moist, nutrient-rich soil amended with organic matter. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week, for the first year. Fertilize in spring and again midsummer. Cut back spent flower stems for a neat appearance. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring or fall when necessary.
