Coreopsis are dependable, one of the best pollinator attractants and repeat bloomers in the sunny perennial garden. As easy to grow, clump forming perennials, they produce small to medium size, daisy-like flowers. Foliage is bushy to basal, medium green. Solanna™ Bright Touch is a compact, mounded variety that produces fluffy, bright golden-yellow, pom-pom flowers with a touch of red, from early summer to fall. Plant in well-drained to dry, nutrient-rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week, for the first year. Shear spent flowers and fertilize to encourage fresh blooms. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring or fall when necessary.
