Tickseed Pink 'American Dream' Quart

Coreopsis are dependable, one of the best pollinator attractants and repeat bloomers in the sunny perennial garden. As easy to grow, clump forming perennials, they produce small to medium size, daisy-like flowers. Foliage is bushy to basal, medium green. 'American Dream' is a variety noted for its long, continuous flowering season. In summer and early fall, it produces a profusion of starry, deep pink flowers up to 1.5" across with glden center disks and on short stems. Plant in well-drained to dry, nutrient-rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week, for the first year. Shear spent flowers and fertilize to encourage fresh blooms. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring or fall when necessary.
