A unique, compact golden Coreopsis with wide, tubular, fluted petals and a rapidly, repeat blooming presence in the garden. A fortunate result from a cross between two already outstanding varieties 'Zamphir' x 'Early Sunrise'. Combine with Salvia, daylilies and coneflowers for a low maintenance cutting garden. 18"h 24"w Bloom Time June-September. Care & Maintenance; Plant in well-drained to dry, nutrient rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week the first year. Use Plant-tone and Iron-tone in spring or at planting; apply Osmocote in summer after deadheading or shearing to encourage new blooms. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring or fall when necessary. Propagation prohibited.
