Asiatic Lilies bloom earlier than Oriental Lilies and are a bit more compact than other lily plants. Also, they usually do not have a scent. Lilies develop thick stems from a bulb and produce large, trumpe-shaped flowers. They work great in the middle or back of borders, rock gardens, containers, and also serve well as cut flowers. 'Tiny Ink' offers clusters of stunning red blooms with nearly black centers on compact stems. The large, easy-to-grow, strong-stemmed flowers with deep green foliage perform beautifully in the landscape as much as containers.
