Lycopersicon esculentum 'San Marzano' A delicious southern Italian heirloom tomato that is considered to be the finest sauce tomato in the world. 'San Marzano' starts slow, but produces heavy yields of 3.5" long, cylindrical red fruit with a tapered blossom end mid to late summer. Its meaty flesh contains few seeds and is low in sugar and acid content making it outstanding for cooking and canning. Maturity: 70 days. Indeterminate.
