This variety is a top cold crop performer producing extra early, smooth, round, cherry-red radishes that have a firm, crisp, snow white center. Due to its awesome flavor and adaptability, 'Cherry Belle' is an easy homegrown veggie that can be planted and picked until the heat of summer to be enjoyed in salads and as healthy, vitamin C-packed snacks. Maturity: 22 days. Plant in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water once a week throughout the growing season. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, following label instructions. Mulch 2" to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
